The name for the studio came from a trip I made with my husband to Iceland. We rented a camper that had a crazy looking cow painted on it and drove that around the country for two weeks. Along the way, we would stop and see the breathtaking waterfalls. The word “foss” was constantly appearing on road signs and majority of these waterfalls ended with “foss”. Turns out, foss means waterfall in Icelandic. Hence why we saw those four letters a lot. When we left Iceland and I was debating what to name the company, the word naturally was stuck in my head. Thus Foss Made was created.
